Produced for my BFA thesis project, Quotidian is an interactive transmedia story told through the eyes of unwitting overachiever Jane Marco and lens of film student Sam Chambers.  The pressure of unpacking Jane's past rests not only with her best friend, but with an audience of strangers.

From the beginning of March to the end of April 2016, more than 60 participants from all over the world came together to uncover the mystery of Quotidian. They solved puzzles, decoded clues, tweeted, developed complex theories, and built direct relationships with the characters through social media. The project was an experiment in the creation of an alternate reality or transmedia story for the sole purpose of entertainment rather than for any sort of marketing campaign. Although the audience was a niche community, the project was a success.
